The coursework is rigorous, but rewarding. The whole program is centered on experiential learning. Students must write a case study either for their employer, or if that is not possible, they must conduct an industry case study. Norwich University's online Master of Science in Information Assurance program was created to develop management leaders in the field of information assurance. The program capitalizes on your IT experience while offering an in-depth study of information assurance challenges that exist beyond the boundaries of the data center. During the programs, graduates will study the business, governance and policy issues that are the foundation for developing effective solutions to current and emerging security threats, and you can learn the skills to communicate those issues to other leaders in your organization.

Designed for busy working professionals, the coursework focuses on the integration of information security technologies with the business problems and opportunities of the real world - your own workplace. Graduates are prepared to assume professional management responsibilities such as those of Chief Security Officers, Security Administrators and Chief Information Security Officers. The unique curriculum structure and online delivery allow you to:
  • Complete the program online without interrupting your personal or professional life
  • Earn your degree in as few as 18 months
  • Experience a learning model that combines relevant theory with real-world application for immediate results
  • Learn from an institution whose core values - challenge, rigor, structure and discipline - derive from the influence of a long and proud military history
